A full day tour featuring a visit to the iconic Great Sand Dunes National Park!
What You Can Expect:
Enjoy a light breakfast and coffee at the pick-up spot in Colorado Springs (or Pueblo) before our journey begins.
Relax on the ride to Salida.
Salida is the quintessential Colorado town, perfect for enjoying a Gallery Tour, unique shops or relaxing at your own pace along Riverside Park.
Stop for lunch at one of our favorite restaurants in Salida. (We can discuss any dietary restrictions or preferences)
Great Sand Dunes National Park
We'll head to the Great Sand Dunes, one of Colorado's most iconic national parks where you can hike, explore and embrace the towering dunes - some of the highest in the country!
- Visit the seasonal Medano Creek, if the conditions are just right. (Typically only available in May or June.)
- If the days are hot, visit the more shaded Montville Nature Trail. An easy hike through aspen trees that has great views of the sand dunes.
- August rains bring wildflowers to the area, so you can enjoy the peak of sunflowers blooming at the end of the month.
Finish the day with a lovely dinner

Buena Vista - Downtown Buena Vista, an iconic Colorado town with stunning views along the Arkansas River, has many wonderful restaurants. We can recommend one based on your preferences and ensure a reservation for your party.

Juniper Valley Ranch. Just south of Colorado Springs, Juniper Valley Ranch's restaurant, open for over 70 years, is known for their legendary skillet fried chicken and simple, delicious famliy-style dinners.
Finally, you can rest and relax as we drive your group back to where we started in Colorado Springs (or Pueblo).
